In Praise of Wrecks

A road sign says “here ends the public road”, and right there, at the end of their "road", the corpses of more than 1.000 cars are resting. Chassis and rims, foils and coils and headlights and gaskets abandoned since the 40s, now a gigantic monument to the age of individual mobility, to consumerism and to what happens to the consumed. And to the boundless power of Nature, which is step by step conquering the naked bodies of the cars, reclaiming the spaces that belong to her. This is a partial selection from a wider body of work available for this topic.
